About the Role
This role will be a cornerstone of our investment operations team. We view investment operations as a critical part of our platform and expect this role to touch a wide variety of areas. This position will have ownership over a broad scope including data ingestion, trade settlement across multiple asset classes, reconciliation and performance calculations. As part of our team, your efforts will be instrumental in building the foundation of our proprietary platform and ultimately in disrupting the wealth management space as it stands today.
What You'll Do
Timely and accurately handle trade management and reconciliations (trade input, processing, settlements and act as the liaison between the broker and firm). There will be engineering resources dedicated to helping create and manage the reports.
Manage workflow, change, issue escalation and resolution
Manage, prepare and review the firm's performance calculations.
Complete light manual trading and confirm trade settlements
Prepare reports and provide accurate, timely, and effective support for advisors. Another team will be responsible for money movements and onboarding.
Manage corporate actions including updating engineering teams on upcoming actions, confirming that actions are accurate and helping to design how corporate actions are processed and validated.
Reconcile and process principal and interest payments for all fixed income and equity securities
Our Ideal Candidate
3-5 years in a hands on operations role
Knowledgable of Equities, Bonds, Derivatives (Options, Futures) and the intricacies of pricing, corporate actions and settlement specific to each
Has experience implementing best practices and sweats the details
Dedicated team player with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through skills
Knowledge of Interactive Brokers a plus
