This role can be based out of variety of US major cities. What we are looking for

State Street’s Alpha Services Strategy, Solutioning and Product Team is looking for a Product and Strategy - Transaction Lifecycle Management, for Vice President for our Alpha Product Solution. This qualified individual will develop and deliver product, business solutions and strategy aligned with our Alpha Transaction Lifecycle Management vision. This leader will focus on driving front, middle and back-office service innovations that support and streamline end-to-end integration, servicing and interoperability for our Alpha clients, across our Transaction Management product suite.

The successful candidate must be skilled in analyzing our complex business service flows across front, middle, and back office operating models for our Alpha Clients, with focus on post-trade execution lifecycle product and services. They will define and drive the execution of our long-term business strategy, internal business cases, solutions and all legal and committee reviews for new products and services. They will also oversee due diligence with our clients and vendors, driving the strategic solution design, business architecture, and business solutions/services, whilst driving program/project execution and reporting.

What you will be responsible for

  • Act as a Business Architect, Product Manager and champion within the company and industry representing Transaction Lifecycle Management product and services
  • Understand/drive and execute on Alpha’s strategic plans, business/service architecture within Transaction Management domain
  • Establish strong partnerships with project sponsors and stakeholders in Operations, Technology and other product teams within the State Street, Charles River Development & BBH Infomediary to influence and coordinate cross-functional business solutions and products, in support of client and business goals
  • Act as liaison between sales, client services, and technology teams to support product positioning, customer demand and prioritize opportunities as part of the Transaction Management product strategy and development
  • Work with business and technology partners to establish clear connections between business goals, strategies and the data and technology investments required to achieve them
  • Define, maintain, and evangelize the product roadmap and 3-5 year vision, ensuring alignment with business transformation goals eliminating manual processing and reconciliation in support of decrease risk and unit cost
  • Manage team of project leads, business architects, analysts and Agile product owners that drive Transaction Management functionality across all domains including OTC and collateral, inclusive of strategic and tactical business solutions
  • Establish and manage new North American Change Control team to support existing client’s change requests across Transaction Management products
  • Develop product launch and release plans, inclusive of legal, contract and committee reviews (NPBRA), where needed
  • Deliver concise and meaningful presentations for internal and external audiences, including education and training of sales staff, training of support groups, and executive level presentations
  • Manage ongoing product demand, prioritization, program and project management
  • Domestic and/or international travel may be required

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • A BA/BS degree in a business or technical field including Finance, Economics, Engineering or Computer Science.
  • 15+ years of industry experience with front, middle, and back-office integration, functionality, and electronic order management platforms (i.e. Bloomberg PORT, CRD, BRS Aladdin, SimCorp Dimension, Fidessa Minerva, Eze Software, BBH Infomediary etc.)
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to develop and communicate the program objectives, inspire and motivate diverse team, and maintain alignment with the business strategy
  • Experienced in driving architecture, design and delivery of transactional data and processing platform using Agile practices and processes, with a focus of establishing continuous delivery, culture and process
  • Proven ability to work effectively with executive management
  • Strong knowledge of existing State Street organizational constructs and teams required, in addition to deep business acumen across middle and back-office systems, functions and services supported at State Street
  • Strong understanding of transaction messaging protocols and format, XML, FIX, SWIFT, FPML, JSON etc.
  • Strong Industry and regulatory experience, inclusive of complex derivative and bank loan instruments
  • Experience with collateral management practices and processes
